I need a restore disc

where can I get an original restore disc for my dell laptop?

it's at work so I don't remember the model, I think it's a 1300b does that sound right?

it is soooo slow now that it is virtually useless, I added memory 1gig + 512 and AOL still uses 100% cpu usage ... I know AOL sucks but I used to be able to use it, I have scanned it with AVG, spybot, and malwarebytes, it needs wiping

They may actually be on the hard drive, you just have to burn them! IF you have installed and uninstalled many apps/games then it is suffering from OS decay. Installing adds, but uninstalling does not take out everything that was added, causing slow, cranky computers. Reload fixes it every time! But you may have a virus or 2 on the box, first one is called windows, another is called AOL Grin

I looked at that when I was about to wipe a month or so ago and they list more than 1 driver, the wireless driver has several options.

I did that once and messed it all up and had a time getting it to work.

I asked Trav to save my drivers to a jump drive but he said I can't do that

I didn't see the wireless driver in that list, look that up and see all the different ones to choose from

Right click my computer and select manage. Once that window open select device manager. Scroll down to Network adapters and see which which wireless adapter you have and download that driver.

Dell drivers are at c:\dell\drivers. You might already have them there.
