Well I found the replacement body! I picked up an 86 trail duster with no engine! Engine was pulled saturday and truck drove to where it was pulled. Needs lots of work, and cleaning, but rust is not to bad, a bit above the rear wheels. Came with a 4" lift for the front, may just sale that! The back is packed with parts, extra doors etc. When I got there he said someone wanted the tires and wheels and was willing to pay him $200 for them, I looked at them and told him to sale them and knock the $200 off the top, I have no need for rusty chrome wheels with cracked tires!! Looks like it could be fun!

There was enuf camo clothing in the back to last me the rest of my life, along with an electric lantern, a hand full of tools, a pair of doors in need of work, and a bunch of trash! Guess I should start looking for a torque converter for it that will run on a 318!

Picked up another 84 dodge swb pickup yesterday, came with a blown 225,(looks to be factory 4 speed)(not a granny box) I have already pulled the 6 banger out and will drop in a 318, edlebrock performer intake, edlebrock 650 carb, msd ignition system, new pilot bushing, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, aluminum bell. Can you believe I had all this on the shelf except the bearing?? Can you say pack rat,,,,
Hey Tom you get that mani on yet? If so how does it perform?
